Claude Code 2.1.251 adds PreModelSwitch/PostModelSwitch hook events that can block, confirm, or annotate a model switch, plus a Spend limit bar in /usage and a rate_limits.spend_limit status line field. SessionStart resume hooks now report session staleness and estimated re-cache cost.
