ChatGPT and Gemini both pass 1 billion users
Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced on X that Gemini has 1 billion monthly users, making it Google's fastest-growing product ever. OpenAI's ChatGPT crossed 1 billion monthly users earlier, with a spokesperson confirming it hit a billion weekly users in July.
