Perplexity released two open-weights multimodal decision models: pplx-decider-v1.2 (27B, 2 cents per million input tokens) and pplx-decider-flash-v1.2 (4B, 1 cent), built on Qwen3.5-4B and distilled from the 27B models. Flash is the top 4B model on the HF Decision Index; inference is up to 5x faster with all questions in a request run in one pass.
