Anthropic safety lead: >10% chance AI "could kill all humans"

Evan Hubinger, who leads an Anthropic alignment team, said he personally puts the odds at greater than 10% within the next decade and that Anthropic "do[es] not yet have a plan" to solve alignment for superintelligence. His post followed researcher Jacob Coxon's resignation, who said both OpenAI and Anthropic are "racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives."
