OpenAI's Astra model solves 10 open math problems

OpenAI's unreleased Astra model produced 10 new results on long-standing open problems in mathematics and theoretical computer science, including non-sofic groups and Connes's rigidity conjecture. The proofs cost under $2,000 at Sol API rates and were formalized in Lean certificates.
