Sony Music, Warner sue Anthropic over alleged IP theft
Sony Music Publishing and Warner Chappell, among others, sued Anthropic and co-founders Dario Amodei and Benjamin Mann, alleging a "brazen campaign" of illegally torrenting, scraping, and downloading copyrighted works to train Claude. The suit follows Anthropic's $1.5B Bartz case loss.
