I tested 30+ open source ai tools this month. only 6 actually replace the paid ones i was using. Ollama → replaces chatgpt plus and claude pro. runs llama and qwen locally. same chat, same answers, zero monthly bill. Opencode → replaces cursor and claude code. ai coding
