Anthropic launches Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5

Claude Fable 5, a Mythos-class model, exceeds all prior Anthropic models on benchmarks and is now available with conservative safeguards that redirect risky queries to Opus 4.8. Claude Mythos 5, the same base model with lifted safeguards, is deployed to cyberdefenders via Project Glasswing.
