Z.ai completes 1GW AI data center using only Chinese chips

Z.ai, developer of the GLM model family, finished a 1-gigawatt AI data center running exclusively on Chinese-made chips, with partial operations already underway. The facility will train frontier models, marking a milestone in China's effort to replace Nvidia hardware.
