OpenAI launches GPT-5.6 Sol/Terra/Luna in restricted preview

OpenAI unveiled GPT-5.6 as three models: Sol (flagship), Terra (balanced), and Luna (fast/cheap). The launch is a restricted preview limited to trusted partners at the request of the U.S. government. OpenAI said the model beats Mythos on coding agent tasks but did not cross the Cyber Critical threshold.
