Anthropic Sonnet 5 closes gap with Opus 4.8, cheap until August

Sonnet 5 achieves performance close to Opus 4.8, a notable improvement over Sonnet 4.6. Anthropic says it is the most agentic Sonnet model yet and will be available at reduced pricing until August.
