US orders suspension of Anthropic's Fable 5 and Mythos 5
The US government issued an export control directive citing national security, forcing Anthropic to abruptly suspend access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all customers. Anthropic stated that the directive cited a jailbreak method that revealed previously known minor vulnerabilities, which other publicly available models can also discover without a bypass.
