Community college AI lab seeks curriculum advice

Dataset of 30,000 artistic QR-code illusions published on Hugging Face, each with paired images, multi-decoder verification and robustness scores. Images weave QR codes into foliage, architecture, lighting and textures rather than synthetic noise blends.

A r/StableDiffusion post argues Minimax H3 still shows smeary noise on fast movements even at 28 steps, and asks for a LoRA not limited to 3, 4 or 8 steps. The poster suggests a 16-step LoRA could reach near Seedance 2.5 quality.

On an AMD 9070 system, image-to-video generation dropped from 304 to 253 seconds after the ComfyUI v0.38 update. The tester notes text-to-video output quality was poor in their runs.

A r/LocalLLaMA post argues that running local AI models does not cut costs, yet the author continues self-hosting for other reasons. The write-up is framed as a personal reflection on why the practice persists despite the economics.

Decision AI models return choices, scores, or yes/no probabilities that code can branch on directly, rather than free text. The explainer compares TypeSafe Jev, Fastino GLiDE, and GLiNER2.5-Decide against open-source competitors.

A single r/LocalLLaMA post speculates that the EU Kids Act or similar legislation could be used as a pretext to restrict open-weight AI models. The thread carries no article, no cited text, and no corroborating coverage.

A Reddit user in r/StableDiffusion reports good image results after loading a LoRA on Qwen 2.1, using CFG 2.0–3.0, 40 steps, and the res_multistep/beta scheduler.
