CISA reportedly uses Anthropic's Mythos to scan federal software for flaws

Reuters, citing three sources, reports CISA's Attack Surface Evaluation team is using Anthropic's Mythos to scan federal code repositories, already uncovering a "large number" of software vulnerabilities. The NSA is also believed to use Mythos, and the Pentagon has designated Anthropic a supply-chain risk after it refused to remove model safeguards.
