Anthropic redeploys Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5

As of July 1, 2026, Fable 5 is available globally on Claude Platform, Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork after US government export controls were lifted on June 30. Fable 5 includes safeguards that block some cybersecurity queries, routing them to Opus 4.8, with false positives in less than 5% of sessions.
