Anthropic to require identity verification for capabilities from July 8, 2026

Starting July 8, 2026, Anthropic will require identity verification for certain Claude capabilities. Verification will be handled by Persona, a third-party firm backed by Peter Thiel, as part of an updated Privacy Policy.
