Spotify labels 'AI Persona' artists, cuts their music from recommendations
Starting mid-September 2026, Spotify will apply the badge to profiles that don't represent a real person, excluding their music from editorial, algorithmic, and personalized recommendations by default unless users follow the artist. Artists can self-disclose, but Spotify's review team will also flag profiles and add a 'Likely AI Persona' badge.
