Moonshot's Kimi K3 expected to close gap with Opus 4.8
FT reports Moonshot's Kimi K3 will be China's largest open-weight model at 2–3 trillion parameters, matching or beating Anthropic's Opus 4.8, with release expected "in the coming days." Moonshot is also reportedly raising at a $31.5B valuation, after a $2B round at $20B in May.
