Anthropic introduces Claude Sonnet 5

Claude Sonnet 5 achieves performance close to Opus 4.8 at lower prices. It is available with introductory pricing of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through August 31, 2026. The model shows improved agentic capabilities and reduced undesirable behaviors compared to its predecessor.
