OpenAI launches Patch the Planet to patch open-source bugs

OpenAI announced Patch the Planet, a free security consulting service for open-source maintainers, in partnership with Trail of Bits, HackerOne, and Calif. The initiative aims to help projects patch vulnerabilities and adopt AI security tools, addressing the risk of AI bug-hunting overwhelming volunteer maintainers.
