Anthropic adds usage-based fees for Claude Fable 5

Starting July 12, Anthropic will charge consumers $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens for Fable 5, on top of existing subscriptions. It's the first frontier lab to gate a consumer model with usage-based billing, signaling a shift from flat-rate subscription pricing.
