Virginia governor creates AI task force, restrains data centers

Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed Executive Order 22, banning executive-branch NDAs for data center projects and requiring expedited noise regulations plus a review of backup-generation operations. The order also creates an AI task force on workforce displacement and data privacy.
