Anthropic to charge usage-based fees for Claude Fable 5

Starting July 12, Anthropic will charge subscribers of its $20–$200/month plans additional usage-based fees for Claude Fable 5, at API rates of $10/M input tokens and $50/M output tokens. This is the first time a frontier lab has gated a consumer model behind usage-based billing.
