Anthropic and White House remain at odds over Claude Fable 5

The Trump administration imposed export controls on Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 model last week over jailbreak concerns. After high-level talks on Monday, the White House declined to lift restrictions, saying guardrails can be bypassed. Anthropic maintains the concerns are overblown and continues negotiations.
