Anthropic launches Claude Sonnet 5

Claude Sonnet 5 launches with introductory pricing of $2/$10 per million tokens through August 31, close to Opus 4.8 performance. It features a 1M-token context window and is available on Amazon Bedrock, Perplexity, Databricks, and in Claude Code.
