AWS builds MCP bridge for AgentCore agents to access local tools
AWS engineers walk through an MCP bridge that gives cloud-hosted AgentCore agents access to local MCP tools, such as spreadsheets on user laptops. MCP is the open standard Anthropic introduced in November 2024 for connecting AI models to external data and tools.
