Alibaba expects second-gen T-Head chip to tape out this year
Alibaba CEO Eddie Wu said on Aug. 20 that the second-generation T-Head chip is expected to begin tape-out and production in H2 2026, offering stronger computing performance and interconnect bandwidth for large-model training. The Zhenwu M890 supernode has entered scaled sales, serving 650+ customers.
