Anthropic to charge usage fees for Claude Fable 5 starting July 12

Starting July 12, Anthropic will charge subscribers an extra $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens to access Claude Fable 5. This is the first time a frontier AI lab has applied usage-based billing to a consumer model.
