OpenAI releases 1.5B-parameter Privacy Filter for local PII redaction
The 1.5B-parameter model achieves an F1 score of 0.855 on the AI4Privacy benchmark. It is designed to run fully local or in-browser for PII detection across 22 languages and 5 domains.
