NVIDIA cuPhoton is an open-source CUDA-X toolkit of GPU-accelerated building blocks that keeps image data on the GPU from sensor read through classification, cutting analysis waits from hours-to-months to seconds. It spans spectral and optical astronomy to time-domain laser/X-ray analysis; the Vera C. Rubin Observatory's LSSTCam records a new image every 39 seconds after dark.
