Genotone unveils Proof of Human verification system for AI music

Creative technologist Andrew Melchior's startup Genotone launches a prototype system to verify artists, producers, and rightsholders via bank standards and national IDs, enabling trusted declarations about a recording's AI use. The system uses durable watermarks and content fingerprints, not AI detection. Genotone is working with artist organizations MMF, FAC, and AFEM.
