How Stripe built Kai on Deep Agents in 1 week
Kai, Stripe's company-wide productivity agent built on LangChain, LangGraph, and the Deep Agents harness, reached 5,000 users in about four weeks. Engineering manager Sharadh Krishnamurthy and staff engineer Anupam Upadhyay led the week-long build after Claude Code's terminal setup proved a barrier for non-engineers.
