OpenAI launches ChatGPT Work with GPT-5.6, file access, and document editing
OpenAI launched ChatGPT Work on July 9, running on GPT-5.6, with capabilities to open local files and edit Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 documents. Available to Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users, it can carry out multi-step tasks to finished deliverables.
