OpenAI launched ChatGPT Work, its Codex agent for knowledge workers
The announcement came alongside OpenAI's GPT-5.6 models on Thursday. ChatGPT Work is positioned to compete directly with Anthropic's Claude Cowork as Codex gets folded into the ChatGPT app.
