A guide to slash commands in the GitHub Copilot app

Slash commands are text shortcuts typed into the Copilot app's chat composer; typing / opens an autocomplete menu of commands available in the current context. Unlike the CLI, the app manages project context automatically, so app commands focus on session navigation, project management, and agent-workflow control rather than file access.
