Alibaba reportedly plans revenue-sharing for next Qwen model
Alibaba is reported to take a revenue share from large commercial users of its next open-weight Qwen model. The plan could land as early as next week, with the percentage still under negotiation. It would extend monetization beyond Alibaba Cloud, where self-hosted open models are currently free of model fees.
