OpenAI shuts down Atlas browser, shifts features to ChatGPT app and Chrome
OpenAI is sunsetting AI-powered Atlas browser, launched in October, moving agentic browsing features to ChatGPT desktop app and a new Chrome extension. The move follows Fidji Simo's directive to cut 'side quests.'
