Companies throttle employee AI use as costs soar

AI spending at some companies has tripled to over $15 million a month, according to leaked materials from half a dozen firms including Atlassian, Adobe, and Amazon. Uber burned through its entire annual AI budget in four months, and some Meta employees cost over $1M each in AI tokens.
