K3 is an open-source model with a 1M-token context window and native visual understanding, accepting text, image, and video inputs; thinking mode is always on. Built for long-horizon software engineering and deep reasoning, it targets frontend, game-development, and CAD workflows. It is available in the AI SDK as moonshotai/kimi-k3 with no gateway markup.
