Trail of Bits gave GPT 5.6-Cyber preview access under its Patch the Planet program and asked it to escape a QEMU/KVM VM on Debian Linux 12 (AMD Zen3); it broke out three times. It first used disclosed host-kernel bugs, then unpatched or unclassified bugs, then found several 0-days after QEMU was rebuilt from upstream source.
