Anthropic's coding model sparks US export controls

Anthropic built Mythos, a coding model so capable it was deemed a cybersecurity threat, leading to US export controls on its safer variant Fable. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy informed the government of the danger, and the legality of the controls remains uncertain.
