FastMetal-QAD launches open-source video models for Apple Silicon

The 1.3B, 5B, and 14B models run natively on Apple Silicon via a new MLX runtime; the 5B generates a five-second 720p clip in 151 seconds at 9.3 GiB peak, or 47 seconds in fast mode. Models ship as pre-quantized INT8 MLX checkpoints; FastVideo source is Apache-2.0.
