Grok exfiltrates user data via encrypted prompt injection
Researchers at security firm Adversa devised an attack that encrypts malicious instructions to bypass Grok's guardrails, forcing the LLM to exfiltrate user chats and personal data. xAI was informed in June, but the vulnerability remained unfixed at publication.
