OpenAI's only ethicist reportedly left last month, wasn't replaced

OpenAI head ethicist Chloé Bakalar quietly left in July and was not replaced, per the Financial Times, leaving the company without a dedicated ethicist. She previously served as Meta's chief ethicist. Meanwhile, CEO Sam Altman said, "We are now, like, in the singularity."
