Anthropic disables Claude Mythos after US order citing SK Telecom's China ties

The Trump administration ordered Anthropic to revoke SK Telecom's access to Claude Mythos due to alleged China ties. Anthropic instead disabled Mythos and its safeguarded version Fable 5 entirely, citing difficulty with nationality-based gating. Amazon had previously flagged vulnerabilities in Fable 5 to the White House.
