NVIDIA, Microsoft, others sign letter supporting open-weight AI models

A letter organized by a16z and co-signed by NVIDIA, Microsoft, Palantir, ServiceNow, Box, AI researchers, and others argues that open-weight models strengthen competition and are a security advantage. Signatories include Sam Altman, Yann LeCun, Demis Hassabis, and Aravind Srinivas, who endorsed the letter publicly.
