OpenAI launches ChatGPT and Codex desktop app for Linux
The preview release supports Ubuntu 24.04 and 26.04 LTS, Debian 13, and Fedora 43 and 44. It integrates ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex, allowing users to sync projects, chats, and plugins across their development workflows.
