Thomson Reuters cuts up to 500 engineers, plans 250+ AI-native hires

Thomson Reuters will cut up to 500 engineering roles while hiring more than 250 net-new engineers, mostly senior and AI-native, over two years. The move was announced at a technology all-hands meeting.
