Claude Code v2.1.166 adds fallback models and deeper sub-agent nesting
Claude Code v2.1.166 introduces a fallbackModel setting that tries up to three models when the primary is unavailable, and allows sub-agents to spawn their own sub-agents up to 5 levels deep. The update also adds glob pattern support in deny rules and fixes multiple bugs including session compaction and model picker issues in Bedrock.
