OpenAI shifts cybersecurity focus to patching, launches Codex Security and GPT-5.5-Cyber
OpenAI's Codex Security plugin has processed over 30 million commits across 30,000+ repositories, with 70,000 fixes confirmed. The new GPT-5.5-Cyber model scored 85.6% on CyberGym benchmark, compared to 81.8% for standard GPT-5.5.
